Kathy Cano-Murillo, The Crafty Chica, is the founder of the award-winning site, CraftyChica.com, specializing in Mexican-inspired crafts, food, and creativity.

She is a former syndicated newspaper columnist and now a full-time creativepreneur and has authored a dozen books, including two novels and the best seller – Forever Frida.

CraftyChica® designs have been sold on HSN, at Barnes & Noble, Michaels, and hundreds of pottery, craft, and fabric shops across the country. Kathy’s mission is to promote positivity via creativity!

Kathy Cano-Murillo is a third-gen Mexican-American, and fourth-gen maker. A native Phoenician, she has been married to her husband (and fellow artist), Patrick Murillo, since 1990. They have two kids, DeAngelo and Maya and one grandson.
